Anja Lee Catering has a team of professionals who are passionate about bringing people together to be inspired and fueled by delicious, beautiful and healthy food. Our team comes from around the world and is encouraged to put their own artistic twist to the clients’ experiences and what they eat. 


Chef Anja, UC Berkeley alumni and female founder of ALC, is a passionate chef from California and trained in France, Europe and locally. Her catering career took her from her hometown of Tahoe City to traveling the world to cook in different gastronomic kitchens. France, Italy, Spain, Napa, San Francisco, Tahoe, you name it - she's cooked there. 

Now based in San Francisco, she shares her love of food by teaching cooking classes and running the show for her quickly growing catering company. Her style spans wide, but she gravitates towards a French-Mediterranean-Californian perspective with a healthy, flavorful emphasis in mind. Her cooking is dynamic and always evolving while keeping health and flavor as the main focus. 


She believes in always having a delicious fresh salad and home-made dressing on the menu to start, filled with fresh vegetables, fruits, nuts, and cheese. After, she strives to infuse all sorts of herbs and spices into every dish - whether it is vegan, vegetarian, omnivorous or carnivorous. She loves to help clients who have particular food interests and dietary restrictions, such as paleo, keto, gluten-free, etc. Afterall, she is an athlete and is always striving to eat healthy and fresh food herself, while expirmenting with all of these different dietary philosophies! For dessert, her go-to is a Fresh Berry Crumble with a Gluten-Free Vanilla Almond Coconut Topping.
